Snippet of the latest Cricket Australia update below. Essentially hiatus is extended to May 31, 2020 - pending further Government announcements;

"The Australian Government announced extended restrictions on social gatherings effective from midnight on March 25, 2020. Of particular relevance to cricket is that social sport activities are now prohibited throughout the country and will be enforced by state and territory authorities. All Australians should follow Government advice to stay at home unless absolutely necessary to leave. Whilst we love the game, we all must acknowledge that cricket is not a necessary activity in the context of the global effort to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

As it currently stands, the earliest possible date cricket can be played throughout Australia, including indoor cricket centres, is May 31, 2020. As the coronavirus outbreak is an evolving issue, we will be reviewing this date on May 1, 2020 and any decisions on starting or recommencing competitions will be made carefully in line with latest government advice. Please keep an eye out for further communication on this topic on all of our social platforms as we continue to monitor the situation.
