Age Groupings and name

The different age groups in cricket are In2Cricket (5-8 yrs), Under 11s, Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s. A player must be under the relevant grade age for all of 2010. For Example any player who turns 13 in 2010 cannot play under 13s.
That is:
- U11s - born in 2000 and2001
- U13s - born in 1999 and 1998.
- U15s - born in 1997 and 1996.
- U17s - born in 1995 and 1994.

All Junior Grades are mixed but competition consists on mainly boys
Brief description of competition
Each grade has a different number of sides in that playing year depending on the number of participating kids. The average competition size consists of 8 teams. The main focus with the In2Cricket program and Under 11's is involvement and participation.

Where is training held?

Training is held at Nightcliff oval, Oleander ST Nightcliff.

What do they need to bring to training?
We recommend that people where white shirts to training with covered shoes as well as a hat. The junior sides all have club cricket equipment for use.

Bus stops available at Nightcliff Rd, Aralia St & Progress Drive.
Where are the matches held?
Games are played at all grounds around Darwin based on an official draw.

All Junior Grades play on Saturday Mornings

Uniform requirements
As part of your fees, the club provides a playing shirt and hat. Players are required to where white shorts or long pants on game day.
Is there an opportunity to represent the NT?
The National under age competitions are conducted in the middle of July for u/15 and in November /December for u/17

Water bottle, Sunscreen
