See you there future Tigers!🐯🏏

Nightcliff Cricket Club (NCC) Announce that we are exploring a future with  University Bulls Cricket Club (UCC).

Today, we are excited to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the 2024 season has been established with University Bulls Cricket Club, marking the start of a collaborative journey that could lead to a full amalgamation in late 2025.

This MoU outlines a shared commitment to explore the potential benefits of amalgamating the two Cricket Clubs. While both clubs will maintain their independent identities and memberships in 2024, a key aspect of the MoU is the formation of joint teams across all grades.

There is a process that needs to be followed before we can provide a full update.  At this stage, all we can share is that the NCC members have been notified of what is being proposed.  We understand the impact of this on the competition and are going through this process as quickly as we can.

We see that this unification will build NCC's on field strength, providing further opportunities to higher grades for current UCC players and offer a glimpse into the potential of a full amalgamation for our members.

The final decision on the club amalgamation will be made by the members of both cricket clubs through dedicated Special General Meetings to be held later in 2024. We encourage open communication and active participation from our members as we navigate this exciting new chapter.

Stay tuned for further updates.

As some of you may know already, the club was broken into yesterday with a number of items taken that we rely on - such as the scoring and sales iPads, the cameras used for game live streams, cash and merchandise.  💔😞

Definitely not the best thing to wake up to on Sunday morning!

If we were to find a positive in this situation, it is that we have had a number of people put their hand up and provide assistance.  One such company that did just that is Star Insurance Solutions.  These legends heard what happened and were quick to put their hand up, donating $1000 to us today to go towards the replacement of the stolen gear 🙏🙌

On behalf of the NCC family, we can not thank you guys and gals enough for this donation, and very much appreciate your support at this time in need.

For those that don't know who Star Insurance Solutions are, these legends are an independently owned and internationally supported Insurance & Risk Management firm that takes a proactive approach to Insurance and Risk management.  They understand that navigating the complex world of insurance can be overwhelming and are well placed to simplify the process and provide personalized solutions tailored to your unique needs.

With years of experience in the industry, the team of expert insurance brokers are committed to finding you the best coverage at competitive rates. So if you are looking around, definitely reach out to the team!

We may have been put on the backfoot by all this, but rest assured, the tigers will continue to push forward 💛🖤🐯
